Kotak Graduate Scholarship
The Kotak Graduate Scholarship (KGS) an initiative of Kotak Education Foundation (KEF),aims to support meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing higher education and achieving their career aspirations. The scholarship provides financial assistance to students enrolled in professional and career-oriented courses across India, enabling them to continue their education without financial constraints.
Under the programme, scholarships are offered across the following categories:
- Technical and Medical Courses (Engineering, MBBS, BDS, and other equivalent professional courses) – ₹1,00,000 per year
- Paramedical Courses (B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharmacy, BMLT, and other allied healthcare courses) – ₹60,000 per year
- Other Professional Courses (B.Sc. IT, BAF, BBI, BMS, BA LLB, BBA LLB, and similar professional degree programmes) – ₹40,000 per year
- Professional Certification Courses (CA, CMA, CS, ACCA, and other recognised professional certification programmes) – ₹40,000 per level
Beyond financial support, the Kotak Graduate Scholarship also focuses on the holistic development of scholars through mentoring, career guidance, employability training, skill-building workshops, exposure opportunities, and placement support, empowering students to build successful careers and become future leaders.

Application Procedure
Eligibility
Category 1
- Applicant should score minimum 60% overall in 12th Grade/HSC examinations in 2024
- Applicant should secure more than 70 percentile in any competitive entrance exam 2024 for a professional course
- Applicant should secure admission to engineering or medical degree course for the academic year 2024-25
Category 2
- Applicant should score minimum 60% overall in 12th Grade/HSC examinations in 2024
- Applicant should secure admission to any professional degree course for the academic year 2024-25

- Scholarship of INR 1,00,000 per year until the completion of the course
- Personalised Mentorship support from dedicated mentors paired with each scholar - to guide students through their educational journey
- Coaching for Work Readiness – practical skills, workplace etiquette, resume building, interview tips and techniques
- 21st-Century Skill Building - vital skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and adaptability, digital literacy
- Home Visits – KEF Scholarship team’s personal touch to sensitise family members, address challenges and support scholars in their home environment
- Life Skills sessions - scholars equipped with essential skills like time management, emotional intelligence, financial literacy
- Industry Exposure Visits to leading companies and corporate offices - to enrich scholars with valuable insights and real-world experiences, and broaden their perspectives
Category 2
Eligible students will receive the following benefits:

- The scholarship fund is designated solely for the purpose of academic expenses such as tuition fees, books, stationery, travel and other related educational needs.
