Kotak Shiksha Nidhi , a timely, groundbreaking initiative by KEF, was introduced pan-India after the COVID-19 pandemic. It enabled the continuity of school and college education of students who were impacted by the tragic loss of one or both parents or a primary earning family member due to COVID-19. Over a thousand students from 1st standard to Diploma or Graduation (aged 6-22 years) benefited from this multifaceted .
Thoughtfully designed, going well beyond financial assistance, Kotak Shiksha Nidhi extended academic support, analytics skills, career guidance, mental health and wellness counselling, and coaching in personality development and life skills. Backed by the Kotak Shiksha Nidhi at a time of deep personal loss and financial distress, a multitude of students found fresh purpose and self-belief, making great strides in their academic pursuits.
Many went on to graduate successfully, pursue higher education in various fields, land cherished internships or secure full-time jobs, bringing a ray of hope for a brighter future for their families and communities.
