Capacity Building

Our Capacity Building Projects catalyse systemic change in school education, cultivating teacher leaders and scaling student learning outcomes. Among these is KSHAMATA (Kindling Scholastic Acumen and Mediating Academic and Technological Awareness), bolstering the all-round development of students in collaboration with the government and key stakeholders. Aligned with the State curriculum and NEP 2020 goals of strengthening teacher training, KSHAMATA offers need-based programs and immersive learning methods to boost academic growth.

In Andhra Pradesh, KSHAMATA operates in 186 APSWREIS (Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutional Society) schools and 108 MJPAPBCWREIS (Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) schools. Empowering 1,600 teachers with enhanced pedagogical techniques, workshops focus on Communicative English-Future Readiness (CE-FR), School Leadership Development (LEAD) and PedTech.

In Gujarat, KSHAMATA is strengthening Leadership and Pedagogical Capacities for the 21st-Century Digital World, for over 1,200 Teachers and Head Teachers across 112 schools, including tribal schools. It will benefit 30,000 learners over three years.

In Goa, KSHAMATA is undertaking statewide capacity-building of Teachers and School Leaders in Communicative English and Pedagogy, over a period of five years.

In Maharashtra, KSHAMATA has been awarded the phased implementation of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy in all 516 PM Shri schools, with the first phase active in over 150 schools. Enabling children to achieve fundamental reading, writing and arithmetic competencies, it also develops their cognitive abilities and 21st-century skills. Additionally, nearly 100 schools each in Pune and Nashik have implemented KSHAMATA through our spectrum of projects spanning Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Communicative English-Future Readiness, Digital Learning Solutions and School Leadership Development.
